A place to be open…

For we do not want you to be ignorant, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. A place to be challenged…

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

Men’s Morning Coffee: Meet with men at a local area coffee shop from 6:30 to 8:00 AM to talk about the book (Jesus of Suburbia), the sermon, and life.

• MEN AT THE GATE:
  Following the biblical example of men gathering to talk about the day at the end of the work day. These groups would meet from 4 to 6 PM in local pubs or restaurants. We are still working on locations.
