WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
Led by a council of officers, Women’s Ministries focuses on the ministry of the Word of God specifically as it relates to women. We have a vital small group ministry, the sharing of music and praise, mutual prayer and encouragement, fellowship teas, occasional guest speakers and retreats. Women’s Ministries is for all women in the church, members, and visitors.

THE TITUS 2 MINISTRY
Titus 2 is a ministry where a woman of faith and spiritual maturity meets with a younger woman once a month in order to encourage and equip her in her walk with the Lord and to help her learn live for God’s glory. Barb Adams is the contact for this ministry.

EAGER HANDS (KNITTING MINISTRY)
The Eager Hands Knitters (Proverbs 31:13,20) exists for two purposes:
1) To demonstrate God’s love by providing the street children and children at the cancer hospitals in Ukraine with hand-knitted or crocheted hats, scarves, or other cold weather accessories, and
2) to follow a Titus 2 example of the older women teaching the younger, not just to knit, but to provide Christian fellowship in a welcoming environment.
To date we have supplied the children with over 3,000 hats, and have involved dozens of women both within Chapelgate and beyond. Our motto is “We teach for Free!” and we are always looking for new students AND new teachers. Come when you can. If you can’t come out, we still welcome your knitting. We also accept yarn to work with, and monetary donations to help off-set shipping (Memo line: Ukraine).

We meet on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 pm in Nursery Room 116 throughout the year. You may call Leslie Druschel at (443) 283-2876 for more info.
