Young Adults

Chapelgate’s Young Adults group is open to anyone in his or her twenties – married or single. We meet together as a large group about once a month in someone’s home and use that time to connect newcomers as well as build new friendships with others who already attend the church. Smaller groups of us meet weekly to support one another, pray together, and grow together in our faith. There are several small groups made up of a majority of young adults, and many of the rest of us are in small groups that are blended across age-ranges in the church.

The goal of the Young Adults group is to provide a network for 20-somethings in the church, to support other ministries of the church as opportunities become available, and to have informal get-togethers where we can bring friends who may not attend church or even know much about Christianity. Our hope is that through our informal gatherings and service projects, we can show Christ to those in our community through our hospitality, our lives, and our friendship.
