Prayer from Julie Kim

O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou has healed me.

I was in despair when I separated from my children's father at age 39, with a 2-year old daughter and a 7 year-old son. After ending an unhealthy marriage of 14 years, I was in intense emotional pain and struggled to eat. I cried to God and He taught me to trust Him, and lean not on my own understanding. I am especially grateful for the Divorcecare, Divorcecare for Kids, Women, Youth, Celebrate Recovery and AMEN ministries who help my single-mother family heal from trauma and thrive in the Lord.
