Nominations for Elder, Deacon, Deaconess
Members of Chapelgate are encouraged to submit nominations for men to serve in the offices of elder and deacon, and women to serve in the unordained office of Deaconess.
Elders serve in the care and nurturing of members' spiritual needs.
Deacons care for the physical needs of the congregation and the surrounding community.
Deaconesses (unordained) assist the Deacons in this deed-based ministry.
Think in terms of what you see now, as opposed to what you think may happen down the road. In other words, is this man demonstrating that he is an Elder or a Deacon now? Is this woman demonstrating that she is a Deaconess now?
Nominees should meet the requirements found in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, and 1 Peter 5.

Chapelgate Christian Academy Open House
You're invited to come tour Chapelgate Christian Academy's campus, meet our teachers, and learn more about the ways we help students grow, both spiritually and academically.
As a special blessing for our church community, we offer a $1,000 tuition discount per student per year, along with free applications for church members, now through April 30. (In addition, we provide generous financial aid to families who qualify!) We are so thankful for the close relationship between our school and our church, and we want to make Christian education as accessible as possible for our families.
Our mission is to prepare students to hear God's voice so they may determine His purpose for their lives (1 Samuel 3:1–10).
Our students thrive in small class settings, where they can experience personal attention and meaningful mentorship.
We also provide a cell phone-free and screen-free educational environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and deep engagement with learning.
Most importantly, every teacher, coach, and mentor at Chapelgate shares a love for Jesus and a commitment to helping students grow in their faith.
We warmly invite you to come see firsthand what makes Chapelgate such a special place. Whether your family is just beginning to consider Christian education or already feels called in that direction, we would love to meet you and answer your questions.
If you’d like more information or would like to reserve your space at our Open House, please email Amy Weisgerber, Director of Admissions.
