Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is back! This fall, Chapelgate and CCA are partnering together to fill shoeboxes with gifts and opportunities for children around the world to hear the good news of Jesus. Starting today in the lobby, we'll have 250 shoeboxes available for you to pick up and fill. You're also welcome to use your own shoebox-sized box or plastic bin. Filled boxes are due back to Chapelgate by Sunday, November 22. If you’d prefer to participate online, you can build and ship a box online for $30 in just a few clicks! Online boxes must be built through that link to count toward our church-wide total.
Turkey Drive
We will be raising money to provide turkeys to several organizations that serve homeless and underprivileged communities this season.
A total of 230 turkeys are needed, which will cost approximately $4000. For every $40 you donate, a turkey dinner will be provided for 15-20 people. Credit cards and bank cards are accepted. Donations will be going towards Helping Up Mission's Thanksgiving dinner, Port Towns Church, Inverness Church (Dundalk), and other local charities. Christms Choir
Join us for Christmas Choir this year! Rehearsals begin on Thursday, November 5th from 6 PM-7 PM in the chapel. We meet every other Thursday. Performances will be during the regular worship service on December 6th and 20th. No musical/choir background is required; if you love singing and Christmas, we want you to join! Reality Factor
Reality Factor is Chapelgate’s Middle and High School Fall Weekend Getaway! Hosted at NorthBay Adventure Camp, 6th-12th grade students, will enjoy a two-night retreat that combines engaging sessions of Bible teaching, vibrant worship, and meaningful fellowship with exciting outdoor activities. Students will enjoy free time on the zip lines, ropes course, giant swing, and other camp attractions! All of this is designed to encourage students to know Christ more deeply, connect with one another, and live out their faith with confidence and joy. Fall Service Day
Saturday, November 21, is our church-wide Fall Service Day! Come join us as we serve those who need a helping hand this season with outdoor projects in the Ellicott City, Columbia and Sykesville areas. Projects are family-friendly, and all are encouraged to participate, so bring your rake and join the fun as we serve together!

Young Adult Bonfire and Pumpkin Carving Night
Celebrate fall at the Chapelgate Church bonfire pit! We will have cozy fireside vibes, festive pumpkin carving, and seasonal treats. Bring your best carving ideas, invite a friend, and enjoy a classic autumn evening around the fire.

Global Missions Breakfast
Next Sunday at 9am in the Fellowship Hall we are having a Global Missions Breakfast. Please join us to hear about the work God is doing in Japan and Africa, raising up the next generation of leaders and church planters while enjoying a continental breakfast!

Breakway and Kairo are enjoying a trip to Summers Farm on October 23rd! It's a great night where they go off campus out near Frederick, MD, and enjoy corn mazes, a petting zoo, and so much more. We'd love to see your student come with us! Please sign up here!

On Friday, Sept 25, from 4-8 PM, the Global Missions Committee will welcome one of our Global Partners, George Kantartzis, to the home of Tim and Mary Beth Booker. Golf Outing Fundraiser for Columbia Pregnancy Center
Join us for Columbia Pregnancy Center's Inaugural Golf Outing on September 11th at Fairway Hills Golf Club. There will be plenty of food, fellowship, and fun so come prepared to have a (golf) ball. Whether you're the putt-putt champ or a seasoned professional, all skill levels are welcome to par-take!
Rounds are available for $175 which covers breakfast, range balls, 18 holes of golf, golf cart and lunch. Foursomes are also available at a discounted price of $600. We hope to see you there!

Kids Ice Cream Social
Families with kids in 5th grade and younger are invited to join us for a free, relaxed Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 22 at 9:30am!

Young Adults Bonfire Night
Calling all young adults, high school graduates, and incoming college freshmen! Before the college crew heads out and the fall semester kicks into high gear, we want to kick off our end-of-summer celebrations, hang out as a community, and officially welcome our incoming freshmen to the YA group.
Join us for a night of great food, outdoor games, a massive bonfire, and awesome fellowship. Burgers, hot dogs, wings, and s'mores are on us! Feel free to bring a favorite side dish or snack to share. Whether you've been part of our Young Adults family for years or you're stepping in for the very first time, come out, meet the crew, and enjoy a great night together.
MTW Conference
This year, our denomination is hosting a Regional Missions Conference in Centreville, VA, bringing together missionaries, church leaders, and members from across the region.
The conference will offer opportunities to learn, connect, and grow in our shared commitment to the Great Commission, with sessions covering topics such as missionary care, short-term missions, global strategy, and more.

Vacation Bible School 2026

A time of focused planning and prayer for our International Day in August!

Prayer Team Intro & Training
Please join us to learn more about the Prayer Team at Chapelgate.
Our Prayer Team serves the church family through intercessory prayer before services, prayer ministry after worship, and special prayer gatherings throughout the year. It is a meaningful opportunity to care for and encourage others through prayer.
At this intro and training event, we’ll share more about the heart and purpose of the ministry, while also equipping and encouraging those interested in serving in these different prayer settings.

Breakaway Orioles Night
Join Breakaway (our high school ministry) as we cheer on the Baltimore Orioles together! This is a great opportunity to hang out with friends, invite someone new, and enjoy an evening of baseball, food, and community.

Victory Jam
Victory Jam is the Middle School Summer Camp of the Chesapeake Presbytery (PCA). Hosting regional 6th-8th grade students, Victory Jam is centered on the Gospel and fellowship with other local churches.
Located at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference in New Jersey, this camp is full of exciting activities, church group times, worship, gospel-centered teaching, team competitions, and of course, plenty of time at the beach! All in an effort to challenge middle school students to know Jesus as King and live for Him in all areas of life.

Kids Color Run 2026
Kids Color Run 2026
Saturday, June 13th at 9:45am (rain date: Saturday, June 20th)
Join us on Saturday, June 13th at 9:45am behind the church building at the soccer field for our fourth Kids Color Run for kids ages 3 years old to 5th grade! Please have your child wear a white (or light colored) t-shirt to show off the colored powder! Don't worry - the color washes off easily in the wash.
Registration is completely free, and donations are optional! We will be raising money to support Belair-Edison School, Brehm's Campus in Baltimore and New Song Academy in purchasing school supplies and uniforms for their kids. ALL kids who RSVP will receive sunglasses for eye protection and a poncho to wear in the car on the way home. We will allow walk-ins, but please keep in mind that we have a limited number of the items above, so make sure to sign up!
Kairo Summer kickoff
Kairo is Chapelgate's Middle School Ministry, and we meet on Fridays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Join us outside for our Kairo Summer Kickoff, for rising 5th graders through those finishing 8th grade. Games, a fire pit with s'mores, and a message. We’d love for your student to join us to kick off Summer 2026! It will be a night of games, fire pit with s’mores, friends, and a message from God’s word. Kairo is a fantastic place to make friends, grow in faith, or meet Jesus for the first time. We hope all students can make it and even bring a friend!
