Nominations for Elder, Deacon, Deaconess
Chapelgate’s Session is receiving nominations for the offices of Elder, Deacon, and Deaconess.
Elders serve in the care and nurture of the spiritual needs of members.
Deacons lead in caring for the physical needs of the congregation and surrounding community, and Deaconesses(unordained) assist the Deacons in this deed-based ministry.
Think in terms of what you see now, as opposed to what you think may happen down the road. In other words, is this man demonstrating that he is an Elder or a Deacon now? Is this woman demonstrating that she is a Deaconess now?
Nominees should meet the requirements found in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, 1 Peter 5:

Not pursuing Dishonest Gain - demonstrates observable contentment in Christ
Above Reproach, Blameless

Seen & Known - Free LIVE Webinar by LCCM
Join Life Counseling Center Ministries for this powerful webinar where we’ll explore how our family of origin shapes who we are, how the search for belonging impacts our lives, and how Christ transcends race, gender, and all the barriers we often build. Despite the struggles of feeling disconnected, the longing for recognition, and thinking no one can truly understand, we will discover that true acceptance doesn't come from others—it comes from God, who sees and knows us completely.
LCCM Counselor Anna Kim will share her personal journey of finding hope, belonging, and acceptance in the loving embrace of our Creator.
Anna Kim holds a certificate in Biblical Counseling from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and a Masters in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Anna's journey to become a counselor began when God answered her prayer of "use me, send me". Thus God is using her to walk alongside those who are grieving as well as have experienced trauma in their lives.
Anna and her husband have three wonderful sons, two daughters-in-law, and one grandson. She enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with family.
