Prayer from Anna French
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.
O Lord my God, though I feel you are far, I know you are near. You know the steps of my feet and the desires of my heart, and still you stay beside me. Lord, in my time of waiting and wanting, you have never left me. Thank you for the hope you have given me in David's recollection of your goodness - that one day you will turn my mourning into dancing, that you will remove my sackcloth and robe me in your gladness. Thank you, Lord, for your love. Amen.
