Prayer from Heidi Bertaux

You turned my wailing into dancing...You clothed me with Joy.

Oh Lord I can only rejoice in Your goodness for turning my mourning ashes into garments of joy and praise, as You promise in Your Word! Indeed Isaiah 61 states that You will give me beauty for ashes, and the oil of joy for mourning; I can only bow my face to You in deep praise for Your answered prayer of light out of darkness. This gives me hope in these troubled dark times that what you've done before, You will do again. Your promises do not fail. Amen!
