Father God, as we enter this season of Lent, quiet our hearts and draw us closer to You. When we feel the weight of sorrow, remind us that weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Teach us to lay down our pride, distractions, and self-reliance, and to take up humility, discipline, and deeper trust in Christ. Restore what is broken in us, clothe us with gladness, and put a song of gratitude in our hearts. May our lives forever be an offering of praise. Amen.
