Christmas Child

Chapelgate Presbyterian Church and Chapelgate Christian Academy (CCA) are partnering to pack 300 shoebox gifts for children around the world!

Each thoughtful gift brings joy and an opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ!

Deadline Nov 22

Please visit the Samaritan's Purse website for more information and to understand the deep impact of this project!

We will have 250 free boxes, labels, and packing guides for you to grab in the lobby!

No official box? Use a clean shoebox-sized cardboard box or plastic bin from home, or purchase one at a retailer such as Hobby Lobby. You can also build a shoebox online below.

❋ Sunday, Oct 18th

Choose a boy or girl, ages 2–4, 5–9, or 10–14. Try to include around 10+ age-appropriate items inside, with a balanced mix of fun, school, and practical gifts. Avoid filling the box with just one or two bulky toys.

❋ Packing

For $30, build a shoebox online through Chapelgate's dedicated goal page so your gift counts toward our goal.

❋ Pack Online

Help pack the van! After worship on Sunday, November 22, around noon, we need volunteers to help load the church van before the boxes go to Bethel Baptist Church. You won't need to travel or unload at Bethel. Email Abby to help HERE.

❋ Volunteer!

Return packed shoeboxes to the Chapelgate Lobby.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23: Final day of National Collection Week. If you miss Chapelgate's noon deadline, take your shoebox directly to an official OCC drop-off location during its posted hours. These boxes will not count toward Chapelgate's total.

Find An Official Drop-Off Location HERE

❋ Drop-Off

Use the Follow Your Box label from the lobby to mark the age and gender. Scan the QR code on that label to make the suggested $10 donation per physical shoebox toward shipping and ministry, and track its destination. Attach the label and pray for the child receiving your gift.
