Prayer from Mark Tucker

I sought favor from my Lord.

Lord, forgive me for so quickly assuming your abandonment. Help me to see you as you are: a Father that would never forget to care for his kids; who would never be ambivalent to our suffering, or neglect us when we hurt. Help me trust you as dad who knows intimately what I need, what I long for, and loves me enough to give me what’s best. Let me rest knowing your favor will not expire and doesn't depend on my performance or faithfulness.
